Report for Inter-Agency

S.U.C.C.E.E.D. Program

5-Week Student Evaluations was successful with 12 out of 15 parents attending.

10-Week evaluations to take place on Monday November 11th.

One student has attained his grade 10 Math credit and two Phys. Ed credits have been completed.

The students assisted in setting up and working at a haunted house at the Kinsmen Pool.  The Swan Valley Stampeders sponsored the haunted house.

We will be taking a class trip to Brandon on November 20th and 21st.  We will be touring Shilo, Assiniboine College and the Maple Leaf Plant.

At the last High Risk Youth meeting a discussion took place on how to get the community information about different agencies.  I tabled the idea of a weekly article in the Star & Times.  The group was in agreement that it would be worthwhile.  I contacted the paper and they would be on board to do something like this.  The following would be in the paper on a weekly basis:

Ø      Picture

Ø      Article (max. 500 words) submitted by the agency.  No thank-yous or advertising in the article. An article can mention to look for further information or advertising in the paper.

I will be contacting all the agencies involved with the Inter-Agency to see who is interested and who is not.
